Mitt Romney isn’t the only person disappointed that he lost his presidential bid, so is Eric Hartsburg. The Indiana resident was so loyal to the Republican candidate, that he tattooed Romney’s campaign logo on his face.

Hartsburg earned $5,000 for putting the blank area on his face up for sale via eBay, in order to get the 5-by-2-inch tattoo. On the other side of the coin, he still has to look in the mirror every day.

No matter his odd decision, the pro-wrestler has no regrets. “Getting the tattoo was a decision that I made, and I am cool with.”

In response to Romney’s defeat, the 30-year-old has found the brighter side of things. “Of course I am disappointed about the election results,” he explained. “I wanted Romney to win, obviously, but I am proud of the voters and the record turnout in certain states. And most of all, I am proud of the effort that I made.”

But it hasn’t all been sugar and spice.

Hartsburg has received criticism from the likes of President Obama supporters who said he looked “like an idiot,” and boasted about the incumbent’s win. “I can deal with the criticism, I have thick skin.”

If faced with the choice to ink his face with Romney’s logo once more Hartsburg would “do it all over again.”

In related news, Hartsburg has put the middle space on his head up for sale, but no one is really interested.
