Wu-Block, the collaboration between Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah and D-Block’s Sheek Louch, sounds good on paper, and songs like these prove their blueprint had a solid musical foundation. Ghostface isn’t found on “Drivin Round,” but Sheek gets verbal assists from Masta Killa and GZA as well as Erykah Badu on the chorus.

The assembled MCs recount various scenarios that find them cruising behind a steering wheel over a hypnotizing instrumental cooked up by Termanology. Badu’s vocals only help smooth out the ride and the best verse goes to GZA’s cinematic lyrics that reveal he hasn’t lost a step.

Ghost Deini and Sheek’s Wu-Block album is in stores Tuesday, November 27th, and you can pre-order your copy here. Listen to “Drivin Round” below.
