Ryan Leslie got emotional on stage at the Long Island University homecoming concert when discussing his court case.
When talking about his ordeal and landing on the front of the New York Post with the tag “Rap Weasel” on the cover, he got choked up. “And yesterday (and the reason why I’m on the front page of the news today) everyone thought I was just a cheapskate or something like that – a jury of my peers,” said Ryan.
“Eight people, they looked me in my face and told me I had to pay this man $1MM for music I never got back.” He went on to say that the $1,000,000 reward is still on the table for anyone that can return his music and then dramatically lit the cover of the Post on fire.
