If you bought what was being sold about Earl Sweatshirt, you would remember him about to be the future of rap.
While the jury is still out on whether he’ll live up to those lofty expectations, his new video “Chum” shows off the rappers talented lyrical abilities. This song features Earl talking about his relationship with his estranged father as well as the staff at Complex magazine searching for him in Samoa.
This video could use some night vision goggles, but other than that the prodigal talent from the Odd Future click keeps it pretty straight forward in this video for “Chum.” You can check it out after the jump.
