The Kid Cudi album is an album which you either like or dont. U are thinking of the album in a stricly hip hop point of view. The album isnt supposed to be that its more of alternative rock and hip hop and electro rap.
And Ratatat and MGMT are definitly not techno. Techno is random bleep bloops. Ratatat are an electronic and sometimes hip hop oriented band who are great producers. MGMT are more of a punk and rock band. Im jus defending 2 of my favorite bands.
