Inmates Caught On Tape Fighting...To Save Prison Guard

Friday, November 6th, 2009

Hillborough County, Florida is the sight of something as unusual as Lions gallivanting with sheep.

Inmates at an Orient Road Jail were caught on camera while saving a senior prison guard from a swiftly approaching death.

Deputy Kenneth Moon, 64, was working at his work station when a 24-year-old inmate attacked him.     At the time, he was working alone in a pod that housed 62 of the area's most vile and villainous.

Jerry Dieguz Jr., Hoang Vu, and Terrell Carswell rushed to aid the senior guard, with Dieguez Jr. landing a vicious cross hook on Moon's assailant, Douglas Burden.

The three unlikely saviors are in jail for armed robbery/invasion, attempted murder, and robbery/marijuana possession/cocaine trafficking/ compounded with a failure to appear in court respectively.

“Their past acts aside, you know, you've got to applaud them for what they did,” remarked Colonel Jim Previtera of Hillsborough's Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office plans to send letters boasting of the inmates character to the state attorney's office, hoping that the state will take their heroic actions into account and provide leniency in regard of their current incarceration.

Moon is on leave, healing from the attack.

Keeping in his assured and confident nature, Dr. Perry told HipHopWired that he and his fellow panelists were geared up to show up and show out, providing advice to individuals hungry for help in the struggling economy.

“The organizers thought that our combined interests and experience would provide the attendees with inspiration for what they could do with themselves…... I know we're gonna rock to it. “

The two-day conference kicks off at 6:30 p.m. today at the Living Word Christian Center in Forest Park, Illinois. It features a career fair and workshops that will teach and preach the fundamentals of recession proof business practices.

Most importantly, conference attendees will have the opportunity to network with the 5,000 plus people expected to be in attendance.

So what does Dr. Perry hope to transcend to the masses through his time at the summit?

“I want people to understand always that our community has the capacity to transform itself we can fix our circumstances. When we start to focus on our ability as opposed to our limitations we do amazing things. “
