Another young victim has fallen to the city of Chicago's thirst for blood.
A 14-year-old teen was gunned down, shot in the head, as he walked with his mother in a Northwestern Chicago neighborhood.
Investigators say that the victim, whom might have been gang affiliated, was approached by a man in his early twenties or late teens, was shot after the two engaged in yelling and flashing gang signs.
The teen was first taken to Advocate Illinois Medical Center and was listed in critical condition at the time. He has since been moved to Children's Memorial Hospital.
Police believe the shooter was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and had short hair.
Carolyn Brown of Boutte, Louisiana got revenge on her boyfriend after the two had a fight, using her culinary skills to whip up a batch of scalding hot grits, opting to douse the poor gentleman with the food for his troubles.
Deputies in St. Charles Parish were called to Brown's residence after the attack to whisk her boyfriend away to a local medical facility; he suffered second-degree burns on his arms and face.
A police report revealed that the couple got into a argument on November 7th where Brown alleged that her boyfriend told her that he was breaking up with her, only falling asleep minutes later.
Brown, whom is facing a second-degree battery charge, is being held at Nelson Coleman Correctional Facility.

As if the country has not had enough of everyone residing on the lunatic fringe right, the Tea Party initiative is now focusing their collective anger against a new enemy, public schools.
Several Tea Party members are upset that Christmas Carols are not being sung in public schools anymore, and in true lunatic fashion, they are looking to the government for assistance.
Under the “Freedom to Present Christmas Music in Public School Classrooms or Assemblies” initiative. The move would require schools to play traditional Christmas carols for students with the penalty for not doing so being legal action.
Most public schools currently allow the playing of Christmas music as long as it is not religiously based and is not used to promote one religious belief over another.
That would allow Jingle Bells to be sung but not Noel.
There is no word on whether the initiative is actually being taken seriously.
Theodore Sypnier, New York's oldest registered sex offender, is officially a free man!
At 100-years-old, he is the only inmate to ever reach the century mark in New York's penal system, and now has the chance to live a crime free life. Unfortunately for the grandfather and great-grandfather, freedom seems to always come in short bursts as he just cannot seem to keep his hands off of children.
Sypnier's prison stints started 22 years ago when he was given three years' probation sexual abuse, raking up another year in 1994 for abusing another minor. The sick senior's most insidious crime say him plead guilty to 15 counts of sodomy and endangering the welfare of a childe as well as two counts of rape.
Tow little girls in particular, ages 4 and 7, were raped and sodomized by the AARP degenerate.
“Those children crawled into bed with me because they were frightened,” said Sypnier to news outlets. “There was never any sexual hanky-panky.”
New York law mandates that in special instances, such as Sypnier's, sex offenders are barred from using chat rooms, email, social networking sites, going to bars, or being around schools and playgrounds.
The first thing Sypnier wants to do when he is free is get to know the youngest members of his family.
“I'll tell them I never harmed any children.”
Though the oldest in New York, Bert Jackson of Utah is the nation's oldest sex offender. At 103 years of age, he is currently serving his prison sentence at home under confinement.
No matter your stance on the issue of gay marriage, no person's right to peace should ever be violated, or at least that is what someone should have told several people at Queens, New York Nightclub.
Tarlach MacNiallais was brutally assaulted by several bouncers while having fun at local watering hole, Guadalajara De Noche, during the wee hours of the morning.
Bouncers at the club kicked and punched MacNiallais, 47, before bashing the unfortunate man in the head with a nearby chair after seeing him dance with another man on the premises.
One of the bouncers even yelled “this is not a gay bar” before commencing the attack.
NYPD is investigating this attack as a hate crime.
MacNiallais is the spokesperson for the Irish Lesbian and Gay Organization, a group created to ensure that homosexuals are included in St. Patrick's Day festivities.
Although an album has yet to be dropped, the Distant Relatives known as Nas and Damian Marley are still trying to leave their impact outside of the music.
Teaming with National Geographic and V-Tech, the duo will have a panel debate on Saturday, December 12th in Washington D.C. Paying homage to the art of Hip Hop, the discussion will explore the origins of the genre and reveal what type of impact it has had across the globe.

Nelly's home has apparently been burglarized as his Missouri mansion is now under police surveillance. Police were called to the residence this morning and a manhunt is currently under way and 12 officers, a helicopter and a K-9 squad were brought out after a female at the home said she saw a man “fleeing “from the residence.
It's not clear whether the St. Lunatic was at home at the time or if anything was taken.
Damn… It's getting hot in here.
