"Republicans For Rape" Has The Internet Going Nuts

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

A new website called “Republicans for Rape” is using humor to tackle an issue that is no laughing matter.

Responding to the hoopla surrounding Senator Al Franken's “anti-rape” amendment in the senate defense bill, the GOP backed sight uses parody to make light of the serious instances of sexual assault and rape that are found in defense contractor companies such as Blackwater and Haliburton.

Senator Franken, a Democrat, is proposing that all defense contract be withheld from companies that refuse to allow their employees to take action against battery, sexual assault, and discrimination in the work place.

Left-wingers were heated after Republicans called for an end to all financial funding to ACORN after a video surfaced of an ACORN employee giving tax-evasion advice to a fake pimp surfaced on the internet which seemingly, publicly displaying a double standard held by the party of the conservative, whom was dealing with its ties to Blackwater and Haliburton.

Both companies receive federal monies in spite of being involved in numerous instance of unsavory business practices and sexual escapades.

Jamie Leigh Jones, a former Haliburton employee, was the first person to publicly accuse Haliburton of covering up her rape as well as the rape of several others.

Al-Qaida Group Claims Responsibility For Foiled Airplane Attack

Monday, December 28th, 2009

A subset of al-Qaida is claiming responsibility for the nearly disastrous incident that occurred on Christmas when a Nigerian passenger attempted to detonate a bomb on a U.S. airplane. 23-year-old Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was arrested Friday after trying to set off explosives on a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit.

The group released a statement on their blog taking responsibility for the act saying,

"He managed to penetrate all devices and modern advanced technology and security checkpoints in international airports bravely without fear of death relying on God and defying the large myth of American and international intelligence, and exposing how fragile they are, bringing their nose to the ground, and making them regret all what they spent on security technology."

According to NPR, an apparent malfunction in a device designed to detonate the explosive material was all that saved the 278 passengers and the crew. No undercover air marshal was onboard the flight, and passengers and crew subdued the suspect and tamped out a fire after Abdulmutallab allegedly tried to set off the bomb.

An “extensive investigation” into Homeland Security is currently underway.

Ughhhh….who else was pissed when they heard it was a Black guy. Come on son!

Seriously though, how did this happen?!

We've got to do better, that was too close for comfort!

Monday, December 28th, 2009

“I coulda went to Roc Nation, but then what am I getting out of that?"

While others have turned their backs and gone left, Jay-Z can say that his longtime friend, hype man and home boy, Memphis Bleek, has always held him down.

After Bleek pushed his The Process album back to February of 2010 and without the buzz that surrounded his name in the early 00's, many questions are surrounding the old Roc-A-Fella associate.

In particular, a question that's perplexed many when it comes to Bleek is why hasn't he moved to his friend's soon-to-be powerhouse label of Roc Nation?
