Johnny Lee Clary was a man that believed the only “good” Black man was one that was hanging from the end of a noose, but now, he would rather help his fellow man and has taken an largely unconventional step to do so.
The former imperial wizard within the Ku Klux Klan started ministering several years ago, choosing the call of God over the whims of bigots and is now ministering to one of the largest mega-church's in America, St. Stephen's Cathedral Church of God in Christ.
Clary is the newest member of the Church of God in Christ's ministerial staff, a major feat considering that he was only formally ordained one month ago.
“The worst thing I ever did was swear an allegiance to the KKK, vowing to hate all Jews and Black and people of other races,” said the former Klansman, “I knelt before the Klan leaders as they sprinkled me with water. I then swore an oath to the KKK and the god of the KKK…It doesn't matter…their god is not the God of the Bible.”
Peep the video of Clary talking about a Black preacher that otuwitted him and the Klan as they went out their way to terrorize him:
Lloyd is on the verge of bringing his name back to the forefront of the R&B scene in 2010. The soulful crooner from Atlanta has a promising year ahead of him complete with new music, new production and new affiliations. Tongues have been wagging for months that the ex-Murder Inc. signee had found a new home under Lil Wayne's Young Money emblem after a speedy departure from Omarion.
Not only did Lloyd replace O on tracks like the group's current single “Bedrock” but his recent EP is saturated with features from Young Money artists including Nicki Minaj and YM President, Mack Maine. Seeking answers, HipHopWired had a chance to catch up with Lloyd to clarify (more...)

The holiday may not have been so merry for some as Washington Wizards' Gilbert Arenas is now under investigation by the NBA for a possible infraction in league rules.
Reported on Christmas Eve by CBSSports.com, a firearm was found within the player's locker while at the Verizon Center. The gun, however, was unloaded and without information.
Although he has not been charged with any crime as of yet, there are strict weapons laws in D.C. that prohibit (more...)
Since the early days of Hip Hop, the DJ has been known to be the factor in breaking new records for the masses and establishing the foundation for what music should and should not be showcased.
This day and age, the DJ has transformed into an engine that drives what the crowd wants and is barely ever the leader of the pack as some are only following to what is deemed as being hot.
The issue might now be facing DJ Enuff from Hot 97 as he is now coming to question why he is not giving rapper Jay Electronica the proper promotion for his latest offering (more...)
“A real b*tch from the 305, we don't do f*cked up sh*t. We don't play no f*cked up, wack ass b*tch sh*t before a real b*tch come on stage.”
Quite a mouthful from the Baddest B*tch, Miami's own Trina felt the need to address a few issues prior to performing at a party recently. The proposed fake chick she is referencing, however, is none other than Khia.
Along with Jacki-O, Trina has had beef with Khia for quite some time as Khia was making the claim that she was the HBIC in Miami and completely disregarded the other two for the contributions that they have put in for rap music, as well as pushing the movement forward for female rappers.
After telling things as she sees fit, the intermission breaks and she proceeds to give the fans a little “Face”.
With the complaints of the former Dip Set members coming out, it seemed only logical that fans of the infamous group would soon hear from the captain Freeky Zekey about the alleged improper conduct that seemed to end the group.
With his lead single “Feel Me” off of his debut album on Big Kat Records, fans got some of the answers they were looking for when the Harlemite explained that Cam and Jim Jones shared equal blame with “shiesty” contracts with the crew and stealing money from him and Juelz.
“My whole thing, I think it's some hop squash, I think everybody need to go and slap each other with a leather (more...)
The hunt is on and Kadis & Sean are leading the pack as the next two-man production squad to take reign of the charts and the boardroom. Following the same path as legends like Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and L.A. Reid & Babyface, Kadis & Sean laid their foundation first by building a brand knowing that when the foundation is set, everything else will follow.
Scoring a production deal with Geffen/Interscope Records as well as a label home for their Roz Records, Gary “Kadis” Spriggs and Sean Marshall first impressed Geffen/Interscope Records Chairman, Ron Fair. Knowing that talent is abundant in the music business but decades of success is rare, Kadis & Sean had a plan of action and knew the real players and shot callers are the ones that change the game.
Switching the rules and the role of a producer, the Boston duo is spearheading their brand with their breakout group Audio Push.
Already commanding an astounding radio and video presence with the certified hit “Teach Me How To Jerk” from Audio Push's forthcoming debut on Geffen/Interscope, Sean explains,
“We are not beat makers. We define the word producer. We discovered Audio Push. We created that sound and a plan of action. We did the first, second and third single. Shopped the deal and made sure the image was right and marketing was in check. Then, we signed the deal and delivered a fully done project. You don't have to sit around and (more...)
