Update: Arenas, Crittenton Suspended For The Rest of The NBA Season
Both Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton can kiss their aspirations for the rest of this year goodbye now that commissioner David Stern has decided to suspend them both for the rest of the season.
Commissioner Stern has suspended both Arenas and Crittenton for having guns in the locker room.
The Commissioner made the announcement after meeting with Arenas and switching his indefinite suspension into a suspension without pay.
Stern has spoken out against both parties saying that weapons in the workplace “will not be tolerated.”
Saying possession of guns in the workplace “will not be tolerated,” Stern delivered the punishment on Wednesday after meeting with Arenas, turning his indefinite suspension into a suspension without pay.
Arenas pleaded guilty to a felony gun charge on January 15 and is scheduled to be sentenced March 26.
Crittenton pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of “attempting to carry a pistol without a license.”
