GOP Member Wins Ted Kennedy's Senate Seat In Huge Upset...Trouble For Obama & Healthcare Bill

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

Democrats are reeling after Republican Scott Brown won the Senate seat occupied by Senator Ted Kennedy for almost half a century.

His win was a huge upset for Democrats especially considering that Brown has been extremely vocal about his opposition to healthcare reform.

He defeated Democrat Martha Coakley the once favored candidate in the race.

With his election, Brown will become the 41st Republican in the 100-member Senate, which could allow the GOP to block the president's health care legislation.

Coakley was needed to win to provide the 60 democrats allotted to block Republicans from using filibusters against healthcare.

His win is being considered a “stunning upset” for the White House.

Damn Massachusetts, you couldn't pull through for Ted?

Pusha T Reacts to Rappers Not Writing Raps

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

Hip Hop is an arena full of competitors trying to keep themselves separated from the pack.  Since Jay Z first stated that he didn't write his rhymes, it seems like everybody is going with the concept of no pen and pad.

For some like T.I. and Lil Wayne, the end result is usually something to look forward to, but unfortunately for others, they just look somewhat stupid and people pray that they didn't really write down the ignorance that came out their mouth.

Pusha T, half of the Clipse, responds to the idea of “freestyling” records, as he is a rapper that takes the time out to actually pen down his thoughts and craft them into songs he develops.

For those that boast about not writing, Pusha states that (more...)

Now however, confirmation has been made that T.I.'s back in the lab and hard at work on his new album.

The news was broken by the man responsible for Tip's hit “Whatever You Like”, Jim Jonsin.

Jonsin told (more...)

“I didn't wanna be waiting.  I wanted people to hear what I had.”

History with Warren G has shown the rapper working with artists such as Nate Dogg and Snoop Dogg and he was even a factor in linking Snoop with his brother Dr. Dre back then when The Chronic firs came.

Although keeping himself closely associated with acts such as Snoop, Dre, 2Pac, Kurupt and others, it's somewhat off that the Regulator was actually never signed over to Death Row Records.

Warren G was actually able to keep it simple with the reasoning behind not joining forces with Dre and Suge Knight.  The rapper stated that his main reason was the fact that he would have to (more...)

The whole concept of this project was to give the true MCs out there a chance,”

Everyone and their mama wants to be a rapper or entertainer these days.  Whether the talent is there and thriving, or not at all and people are lying to themselves, they are in need of a more effective outlet to at least get their foot in the door.
