Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and his “ganster” persona has transitioned him from being an artist that delivers raw and uncut aggressive content to a rapper whose name is synonymous with beef.
With Before I Self Destruct on hiatus until the close of the year, 2009 was full of notable moments for Jackson as he waged war against Rick Ross and opened old wounds back up with Jay Z when he decided to affiliate himself with Beanie Sigel.
Coincidentally, more will remember the rapper for his antics in the year as opposed to the actual album which was overshadowed by (more...)
While the world of Hip Hop twiddles their thumbs in anticipation for the drop of Just Blaze and Jay Electronica's joint effort Act II, this will have to hold everyone over until it drops, whenever that happens to be.

Unlike the usual Hip Hop music video, thankfully, the rapper had the shoot done in Nepal/Dubai and it actually appears that the video will actually have some substance to it and not the usual ‘I'm gonna rap and look gangsta'.
The video was directed by Jason Goldwatch and cinematography was handled by Robot The Magnificent. Unfortunately a teaser, now there's more to wait for from Jay.

People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals or PETA has caught wind of the ex Mrs. Nasir Jones' open letter to the organization after they put her on blast for wearing fur.
As previously reported Kelis responded to criticism from the organization telling them to “get off her back” and to “stop wasting her time trying to save chipmunks” after they sent her a letter about a fur outfit she was photographed in.
Now the world's most prominent animal rights group is responding to Kelis in an “open letter” of their own.
