Drake - "A Thing Of The Seasons" Trailer [Video]

Monday, January 18th, 2010

It seems as if the groupie love for Drake continues to hold strong with the New Year.  With Thank Me Later only two months away, anticipation and expectations couldn't be greater for the young rapper.

Without an album and strictly riding off his buzz, M3 has decided to pay a little homage with the release of A Thing Of The Seasons, a documentary that is based on Drake's life and times now that he has leapt major bounds so far in his 2009 rookie year.

And just to think, Lil Wayne didn't even get shine like this until Tha Carter series.  We'll see if Birdman was right in saying that it would be some time before Drake reached the success that Wayne has been able to achieve.

Available for free download, fans can get a hold of the DVD by visiting MixtapeEvolution.com.

He might just be “Successful” after all.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: I Have A Struggle! Not A Dream! [Video Included]

Monday, January 18th, 2010

The more things change the more they seem to stay the same.  Four & a half decades after he demanded that the U.S. government deliver on its previous promise to pay reparations to the very same people she once held in physical bondage, Amerikkkanized Afrikans have yet to be compensated.

As a matter of fact, Original people are still facing many of the same issues as then:  Low standards of education, high levels of unemployment, police brutality, an unjust, imperialistic war overseas, added with the ever increasing costs of living here at home.  Thusly not much progress has been made since the rebellious Black Power era.

During the monumental ‘March On Washington' on August 28th 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. addressed the United Snakes of Amerikkka's debt to the descendants of the people she had kidnapped, exploited, raped & slaughtered while building up the country to be the super power that it eventually became.  He also touched on racial injustice, non-existing employment opportunities, voting rights & police brutality, but the mainstream media continues to classify his dissertation that day as the ‘I Have A Dream' speech.

“Many missed his economic message.  He didn't just have a dream.  A dreamer sleeps and (more...)

Twitter Post Gets Man Banned From Airport For Life

Monday, January 18th, 2010

A British man has been suspended from his job and banned from an airport for life after jokingly posting a message on twitter that he was going to blow it up.

Paul Chambers was frustrated that New England's Robin Hood airport was delaying flights due to snow and he tweeted out his issues saying,

"Robin Hood airport is closed. You've got a week and a bit to get your sh*t together, otherwise I'm blowing the airport sky high!!"

A week later anti-terrorism detectives arrived at his door step before taking him into custody and questioning him for seven hours.

His laptop, Iphone and home computer have all been confiscated.

He has been suspended from work pending an internal investigation and banned from the airport for life.

He is currently out on bail and is still waiting to see if he'll be charged with “conspiring to configure a bomb hoax.”

SMH...he should have known better. Big Brother's ALWAYS watching....

Joell Ortiz Reacts to Benzino, Talks “Free Agent” and Slaughterhouse [Audio Included]

Monday, January 18th, 2010

As Benzino has continued his verbal onslaught on Slaughterhouse, he has had words for the likes of Crooked I, Joe Budden and an ensuing battle with Royce Da 5'9.  One name of the slaughter that has remained untouched by the Boston native is Joell Ortiz.

With Free Agent coming at the end of March, Ortiz has been heavy in his campaign with countless freestyles released, the Road Kill mixtape, which will have a sequel out sooner than later, along with a project with long time collaborator Novel for their project Defying The Predictable coming around the corner.

Tension is building to build as Zino stated that he is bringing together a group specifically made to attack Slaughterhouse and prove his statement that the four man group is overrated and aren't as lyrically endowed as some are claiming.

Having so much dirt thrown onto the name of his group, the Brooklyn Bomber sets the records straight by saying (more...)

Monday, January 18th, 2010

Beginning 2010 with a bang, Young Buck has refused to let his foot off of the throats of Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson  and the G Unit brand that he stands behind.

Ironically like the situation with Beanie Sigel and Jay Z, Buck has released numerous diss tracks trying to bait 50 and finally bring him out of hiding to address a few things and find a way to let Buck out of his contract, even if he has to go to extreme measures to make his former brother in rhyme do so.

At this point, diss tracks aside, Buck has stated that he wants to meet face to face with Jackson and finally have a sit down in regards to his contract and his pending (more...)
