Big Boi, ½ of the legendary Outkast, is finally confirming a release date for his forthcoming solo album Sir Lucious Leftfoot: The Son of Chico Dusty.
As previously reported Big Boi released his first single “For Your Sorrows” featuring George Clinton and Too Short via a live Ustream chat.
Following that he dropped his current banger Shine Blockas featuring Gucci Mane.
Now with two singles in rotation, Leftfoot is finally letting us in on when the project will hit stores. (more...)

The infamous Philadelphia swim club that made headlines for turning away Black and Latino children that changed the "complexion" of the business is getting its just due after being served with court papers.
The Justice Department has filed a discrimination lawsuit against the Huntingdon Valley swim club claiming that the establishment engaged in a pattern of racial discrimination.
The lawsuit is seeking to ban the swim club and any other business from acting in a manner.
Assistant Attorney General Thomas E. Perez for the Civil Rights Division issued a statement denouncing the swim club saying,
"It is illegal and inexcusable to discriminate against patrons by barring them from a place of public accommodation on the basis of race or color.”
If you can remember, following the incident in the summer the Huntingdon Valley Swim Club was fined $50,000 by the Pennsylvania Human Rights Commission and was forced to file for bankruptcy.

For most of us who have probably forgotten anything about the 90's Hip-Hop star Mystikal, on January 16th, 2004, Mystikal was sentenced to six years in prison.
This was after Mystikal pleaded guilty to the crude act of forcing his hair stylist to perform sexual acts on him while his body guard taped the whole event.
Mystikal initially denied any of the accusations, until a video tape of the occurrence was found in his home later on.
However, after a long 6 year prison sentence, and almost a 10 year time period with no studio album, Mystikal is expected to be released as soon as (more...)
