Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

“He's a good guy.  I respect him as an MC.”

In today's frenzy of Hip Hop artists, it's hard to pin point one that can stand out in the sea full of sharks.

An artist with such caliber as Lupe Fiasco must find it hard in the search for other rappers that can meet his lyrical ability, but clearly Fiasco sees something in the up and coming Jay Electronica that most others have already known for quite some time.

Both known as remarkable wordsmiths and lyricists, the fans of Hip Hop were initially ready for the two to be placed on opposite sides and engage in a lyrical war to see who would topple the other.

With L.A.S.E.R.S. turned in awaiting the politics from the record label, Lupe has stated that he has yet another goal to accomplish (more...)

Autistic Woman Raped In Broad Daylight; No One Stops To Help

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Police have 15-year-old Anferney Fontenet in custody after they say he raped a mentally challenged woman in broad daylight on the side of a busy street.

Ohio police say Fontenet attacked the 26-year-old woman while she walked to the library after leaving her friend's house.

The victim of the crime is bi-polar and has Asperger's Syndrome, a form of autism.

The boy told police that he threatened the woman with scissors and then proceeded to rape her on the sidewalk while motorists passed by.

Police also say the boy told them that he saw the woman walking alone and determined that he was going to have sex with her.

Several drivers witnessed the crime but did not stop and help.

Some however did call 911 and report the crime.

The victim has since spoken out about the crime and is frustrated that no one came to her rescue. She tells the Toledo Blade,

“I'm ticked off because people were doing nothing. Just driving by. What kind of humans are we becoming?

I'm shocked no one stopped to help. SMH...just shows you the type of world we live in.

Nelly and Bow Wow's Celebrity Basketball Game

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

It looks like they wasted no time at all in getting this underway as Bow Wow and Nelly went head to head in their celebrity basketball game in Ohio recently.

With special appearances from the likes of Cincinnati Bengals' Chad Ochocino, along with support from the St. Lunatics Murphy Lee, the stage was set between Team Cash Money and Nelly's Derrty Ent.

Musical performances from Travis Porter and Tearirra Mari lit up the stage to keep the fans on their toes during the game.

Of course having the home team behind him, Bow Wow looked to be the fan pick for the outcome of the game.

The game left memorable crossovers for the highlight reel, but left the question: Who won?

Billy O'Reilly Compares Southside of Chicago To Haiti [Audio]

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

One of the most controversial Fox News hosts in Amerikkka is making yet another discriminatory remark, this time comparing the Southside of Chicago to the embattled country of Haiti.

During a stop on Bill O'Reilly's “Bold Fresh Tour” with equally offensive, equally racist, equally pig-headed Fox affiliate Glenn Beck on January 23, O'Reilly tells his counterpart that the Southside of Chicago is a “disaster” much like the country of Haiti.

WHAT?!

“If you've ever been to the South Side of Chicago, I mean, it's a disaster. Alright? It's like Haiti. It's like — I've been to Haiti a couple times, and I support some charities there, but Haiti just never gets better no matter..."

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Damn who knew?  Everyone knows that Warren G was the center piece who connected Dre and Snoop and the history that followed but Warren G recently discussed with Hardknock.tv about being dissed by his own crew and not giving his proper credit.

Revealing the hurt and why he signed with Def Jam instead of Death Row, The G-Child stated,

“I had to survive.  At that time I wasn't surviving.  I was there and I put in a lot of work.  It was a family effort, it was all of us but it just wasn't working.  It was certain things that would happen and I wasn't involved and I just felt left out.  And I was hurt too at the same time because these are the guys that I love and I really don't think till this day these ni**as realize how much (more...)

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Why'd you get this ni$@a started???  In a recent interview with Street Disciplez Radio, West Coast MC Knoc-turn'al took a few shots at The Game as he prepares his comeback.

When asked about the state of West Coast Hip-Hop, he took that as a platform to throw Game under the bus.  Knoc stated,

“I'm a prince and there's a lot of knights at the roundtable and they asked me to back up for Guerilla Black and Game and let them have a little room and they didn't do their jobs so I had to come out my bat cave to do it again.  I'm not like these other suckers.  Dr. Dre pay me.  I don't have to rap again.  I got my cheese.  I don't have to (more...)
