There has been quite an epidemic going on as of late in regards to rappers and athletes being called for their bad choice in decision and facing prison time.
Not since Shyne and his 10 year sentence has Hip Hop been under such a microscope by the law and received such heavy penalties.
L.O.X. member Styles P is one that has seen the cell when he was arrested and served an 8 month bid at the Valhalla Correctional Facility in upstate New York back in 2002. Doing time for stabbing a man in the buttocks, the rapper is one that used his time incarcerated to reflect and make sure that he never stood inside a cell again.

“In today's day and age, a buzz doesn't really mean anything. It's so manufactured, it's smoke and mirrors.”
As a rapper makes an attempt to get their foot in the door, the routine always begins with building a buzz so that Hip Hop heads are at least aware of his/her presence.
In most cases, however, this buzz isn't really what it's cracked up to be once it becomes evident that the fans aren't coming by the masses to performances and, worst of all, not buying the music.
Don't believe the hype. Most times the music will just have to speak for itself.
Newcomer CurT@!nS, pronounced Curtains, is a New York native that has created a lane for exposure, but, speaking with True Stories Radio, extinguished this preconceived notion of exactly what having a buzz means.

The saying goes to respect one's elders and somebody had to learn the hard way as a man was embarrassed and beaten up by a 67-Year-Old man.
After taking offense to a remark about performing a spit shine for some Stacy Adams shoes, a Black man goes on a verbal assault while on a bus with the older white man.
Unwilling to back down, the elder stated that he isn't afraid of him, which most have rubbed the Black man the wrong way as he continued to try and send threats of placing his foot inside his rectum.
Everything blew out of proportion after the elder went to his seat and the Black man, having been verbally provoked, went to the front of the bus to slap the man.
What happens next, nobody could have saw coming.
HAHA…notice how at first the girls are saying to kick the old man's butt, but after he's left in blood they tell him he can file charges.
Only in America, people. Only in America.
This just goes to show to not think you are something that you are not or else you might end up slumped over spitting blood out of your mouth.
Somewhat like getting a taste of her own medicine, a Romanian teacher became the recipient of five fingers to the face from the long arm of the law.
Being accused of abusing children, the women was placed under investigation by authorities and through a verbal confrontation, she slaps the officer in his face.
Apparently, the rights of police might not be like they are in the States as the officer sent the teacher to tears when he responded with his own slap.
Now why play in the game if you're just going to get all emotional and start crying like a baby?
With such allegations such as child abuse, this seems more like a win than a case of police brutality.
In a recent act of unnecessary violence, a 17-year-old male was the victim to an assault as he was attacked by his supervisor while at McDonalds in Memphis.
According to the victim, he was punched and kicked and was slammed against the counter repeatedly.

Being asked to cover an overnight shift, a deal was made that he would receive a meal and be able to leave at 5 a.m. The deal was apparently broken after having to stay longer to wait for the opening manager and when he tried to clock out, he was attacked.
Being released from prison four months ago, Shyne's return to rap was sidetracked when immigration took it upon itself to have him deported back to Belize.
Since then, Po has been fighting to obtain residency in the United States while being barred from areas such as the United Kingdom due to his criminal past.
These obstacles, however, have yet to throw him from his path as the rapper has signed a deal with Def Jam Records for $1 million.
According to Miss Info, the label was able to reign victorious over a bidding war. His last album, 2004's Godfather Buried Alive, came out on Def Jam. The response to that album in comparison to his debut, however, would have left some to believe that (more...)
