The Hip-Hop world was stunned to learn to that ½ of Gang Starr, MC Guru, suffered a heart attack this weekend putting him in cardiac arrest and a coma.
As previously reported, we received news of his condition Sunday after receiving confirmation from multiple sources.
Now his counterpart from the legendary Hip-Hop group is giving an update on his friend.
Solar has released a statement on the condition of Guru saying,
“Guru is struggling with a serious health issue…and we appreciate all your love and well wishes. We continue to hold out hope that Guru will make a full recovery from this and ask that his privacy on this matter be respected. Again thank you for all your support through this trying time.”
News that Guru passed away hit the internet last night and fortunately for the world of Hip-Hop those reports are still untrue.
Guru is said to be hospitalized for his condition but the surgery he had Monday has been deemed a success.
