Chris Brown Cusses Out Radio Personality, Walks Out Of Interview [Audio]
“Why am I even doing this interview? I ain't doing this s**t!”
A scheduled interview between Chris Brown and a Virginia radio station quickly turned sour after the R&B singer complained of his songs not getting airtime, cursed out the radio personality and left.
The singer turned diva let out his rant yesterday at Richmond's Q94 WRVQ during a prerecorded interview with radio host Kash.
When an obviously perturbed Brown asked him why he wasn't playing any of his records, Kash responded saying,
“Mr Chris Brown... you just don't have any hits and that's just the truth. You don't have any hits right now.”
Obviously upset by his response CB lashed out at him before walking out saying,
“All I'm saying is that you don't play m y s**t. What number is it (my song) at? It don't matter. Why am I even do ing this interview?! I ain't doing this s**t!”
Kash reports that he's since received several phone calls from executives at Jive apologizing for their artist “acting like a diva.”
The personality is also denying claims that he altered the audio to shed Brown in a negative light. He took to his Twitter page to say,
“For the record, my interview with Chris Brown was posted with the entire amount of audio I got minus dead air, I tightened it up for radio play. Apparently blogs are thinking I edited it to make homeboy look like a d**che, but no editing can create that level of d**che-bagery.”
Ouch.

@ aleximaq Rihanna's Rude Boy sat at #1 on the billboard hot 100 for several weeks. It's still at #2 now. What does this have to do with Rihanna anyways. Chris just continues to prove he is one angry immature person. The dj was right. He has no hits because his songs aren't any good. Get over yourself.

@aleximaq: I'm not a Rihanna fan at all but her Rude Boy song is at #2 on the Billboard Top 100. You can argue whether it is worthy of that spot but the fact remains that as far as radio is concerned Rihanna has hits.
Chris Brown doesn't even appear in the Top 50, unless I missed it. As an artist you know when you don't have any hit records playing right now but a little positive press and a little positive interaction with radio personalities could be helpful. Not a good look for Chris...

Radio play, and videos are what help a song become a hit. How else will anyone hear about it? That station was likely black-balling him - their execs don't want to admit it.

Radio stations play old songs all the time. If Chris doesn't have hits "now" why couldn't they have played one of his old songs? He came on the show as a guest therefore he should have been treated like one. Not justifying Chris' behavior, he couldve just walked out or handled it more behind the scene rather then right on the mic, but if someone comes at me down playing my art I would be mad too! That's disrespectful. I think they're both wrong in the situation & that's just what it is.

ok this interview was defintely edited and right after the interview was released Chris tweeted the station and said he apoligized but he also said "he liked how yall chopped up the interview" they set him up and he really needs better people around him...even another radio staion tweeted this dj and said that Chris was family and told the dj to back off....ALSO mighty funny how TODAY that dj was suspended..can i say KARMA...
