The relatives of a Chicago high school student are seeking justice after she was videotaped being severely beaten by a group of her classmates so badly that her hair was ripped out of her scalp.
Bogan High School sophomore Satiya McBee says she was attacked by a group of girls from school Monday on a Chicago Transit Authority bus. The video shows the girl being pounded in the face while one attacker latches onto her hair and won't let go.
McBee's grandfather D.W. McBee is outraged that the girls responsible have not been punished.
He tells NBC that student on student violence is common and that he and other parents have reached out to the school principal.
“It's sad. I hate it, not only because of my daughter, but for lots of more children being victimized like this by students on buses and at school.”
NBC reports that Bogan High School principal Kenneth McNeal has yet to comment on the incident and has referred all calls to the Chicago Public Schools.
The girl's attackers are believed to call themselves the “Lady Mob” and consist of about 30 girls that often pick fights with other students.
The CTA is also investigating the incident.

Well, it seems that Mr. Jayceon Taylor actually has the ability to come through with what he says.
Shortly after the drop of his street single "It Must Be Me", Game follows up with the highly anticipated "400 Bars" for every Hip-Hop fans listening pleasure.
Grab a chair, though, there's a feeling this might be take awhile.
As much of a pain it is to just call it what it is, sometimes rappers don't come to the realization that what they believe is hot, might not just be the one.
With all engines go for The R.E.D. Album, Game released the “street” single for the upcoming project.
“It Must Be Me” feat Pharrell

As rapper Shyne is slowly trying to make his climb back into relevance, Shyne must have felt it necessary to address some foes that he couldn't verbally touch while incarcerated, mainly rapper 50 cent, on his recent freestyle.
“I need a couple million, F*** 50 Cent.”
“Un-Thinkable [Freestyle]”
With the song fading out, it sounds like yet another dud coming from the rapper's camp as that weird voice just won't go away.
Do you think 50 Cent will even bother to bite back at Shyne after this menial shot? (more...)
FOX News host Bill O'Reilly made an appearance at Reverend Al Sharpton's conference for his National Action Network Wednesday and received a less than warm welcome.
The talking head of "The O'Reilly Factor" was booed by the crowd after making comments on racism saying that America had moved on and that,
“Black people need to stop playing the race card.”
Uhhhh….okay.
The mostly Black audience responded with a series of boos expressing their disapproval and Reverend Sharpton even chimed in saying,
“You can boo that one.”
O'Reilly did praise the President however, commending him for not using his race as a factor to win the election.
The National Action Network is meeting in New York from April 14-17 to discuss racial inequality.
Scheduled speakers for the convention are Bill Cosby, Tom Joyner, Roland Martin, Rep. James Clyburn and RNC Chairman Michael Steele.
As earlier reported, the Hip-Hop world went into quite a frenzy when rapper Eminem tweeted that there was no longer a Relapse 2 on the way.
All of the work on recent collaborations and crushing his fellow rappers on features was beginning to seem like it was for no reason if there was no actually project to match the lyrical headlock Em placed the game in.
There is hope, fortunately, as the album is STILL coming out, just under a title that seems to be more fitting, according to Eminem. Originally Relapse 2, the album has been renamed Recovery.
It even received a release date, as fans can “expect” the project to drop (more...)
