Police Officer Shoots Man Who Pulled Water Gun On Him [Video]

A police sergeant in San Antonio Texas is on leave with pay after shooting a man who pointed a gun at him.

According to reports, police sergeant Joel Rios was in plain clothes when a man jumped out in front of his unmarked car. After the officer displayed his badge, police state that the 32-year-old man pulled what police thought was a pistol, so they fired shooting the man in the torso and arm.

After the shooting, police discovered that the “pistol” was actually a water gun.

“The suspect hopped out and told Sergeant Rios-“I f*cking have something for you”, a police officer stated, “It turns out it was a dark purple water pistol, but from a distance you can't tell the difference- it looks like a gun.”

According to police, the suspect is expected to make a full recovery.  The entire incident started after Sergeant Rios saw the man harassing an elderly man and pulling the “pistol” out and pointing it at passing cars. Police state that the man was drunk at the time of arrest.

SMH, this story could have been tragic.  He better count his blessings that he only received a shot to the arm for a stunt like this.

Texas Teacher's Assistant Fired For Calling Student The "N-Word" [Video]

A teacher's assistant in Texas is now without a job after she was accused of using a racial slur against a high school student.

According to reports, student Rodney Thomas was helping a coach put chairs away in a gym without a hall pass on April 19 when the teacher's assistant spotted him. During the heated confrontation, the student states that the teacher's aide called him a “Nig*A”

The 19-year-old's mother Dinah Thomas is pleased with the school's decision, but insists it should have taken place that day.

"It should've been nipped in the bud that day.” Ms. Thomas states, “We went up there and she said it. I was just shocked that a school professional would even be using that word."

Although initially the high school released a statement saying that they wouldn't make a decision until a full investigation was completed, Tammie-Lang Campbell, the former president of the Fort Bend chapter of the NAACP, states that she obtained a copy of the termination letter advising the aide that her services were no longer needed.

"I commend HISD for taking the stand against the use of the 'N-word,' but at the same time I question the severe punishment the teacher's aide received," said Lang-Campbell.

Reportedly, the teacher's union mirror the statement made by Lang-Campbell as the president of the union stated they will appeal the outcome.

They have always said it is two sides to every story but it will be interesting to see how this turns out.

Cypress Hill's Sen Dog and acclaimed motorcycle designer Roland Sands have teamed up with Rockmoto.com to design a custom helmet for fans to win.

The duo teamed up for the one of a kind collaboration in celebration of Cypress Hill's ninth studio release Rise Up.

“The funny thing is that I have always wanted to ride bikes,” Sen Dog states in the interview on Rockmoto.com. “I think it was back in the 90s when I had all of these cars, I wanted a bike but never knew how to ride one. [laughs] But definitely the love for bikes has always been here.”

Common Speaks On New Album With Kanye West

Chicago bred emcee, Common recently sat down in an interview with Billboard.com and discussed his upcoming album and what fans can expect.

The upcoming album, which is slated for a fall release, is tentatively titled The Believer and will feature production by Kanye West as well as veteran producer No I.D.

"It's 'good' music," Common said. "The themes are street music and elevation, things that I feel like I always embody when I rap. But here there's new situations, new solutions."

Family of Guru Sets Date For Memorial Service, Still Discredit Claims From Solar

Guru of the legendary Gang Starr will finally be commemorated by fans after losing his battle with cancer April 19th.

The family of Guru, real name Keith Elam, is confirming that those wishing to pay their last respects will have a chance to do so July 17, what would have been the emcee's 49th birthday.

The news is spread on behalf of his sister Patricia Elam who previously released a statement to fans sharing intimate details on his final days before his passing.
The Elam family is also once again discrediting claims from Guru's comrade Solar who released an infamous final letter on behalf of the emcee.

According to Patricia, they were not informed of his passing and had to hear about it on the news.

Police Search For Texas Man Who Decapitated Wife With Chainsaw

Police in Texas are on the hunt for a man they say decapitated his wife with a chainsaw, leaving her dead body in the street near the murder weapon still running covered in blood and tissue matter.

Lewisville police have issued an arrest warrant for 49-year-old Jose Fernando Corona charging him with the murder of his wife Maria Corona.

Police were called to the couple's home after a postal worker found the slain woman lying headless in the street.

Two chainsaws were discovered at the scene in the back of Jose Corona's pickup truck, one of which was still running and appeared to have been used to kill the woman. Medical examiners have confirmed that Maria Corona's death was caused by,

“Multiple blunt/sharp force chainsaw injuries due to assault by another person."

The couple's oldest daughter Carla Corona reportedly arrived at the scene and identified the victim as her mother.
CBS News reports that Carla's husband Freddie Arellano, told authorities that Jose Corona called the couple to say that he "had done it, he had killed her and was going to drag her body next door.”

Police believe Jose fled the scene in a 2005 Toyota SUV before going to a car lot and asking to test drive a vehicle and never returning.

Authorities say he has friends across the border in Mexico and are asking state and federal agencies to help locate him.

Jose Corona may be driving a two-door 1991 Ford Ranger with Texas license plate AA24004.

Katherine Jackson Gives Grandkids The Boot Out Of Her Home

Katherine Jackson has apparently had enough of taking care of her grandkids and wants them out.

According to TMZ, the Jackson family matriarch has given ex-daughter in law Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza and her four children until the end of the week to vacate the property.

Oaziaza, who is currently living on the property with her kids by both Randy and Jermaine Jackson, obviously has been more of a hindrance to the 79-year old grandmother than (more...)

Sugar Daddies Robbed By Young Women [Video]

Police in Palm Beach, Florida are looking for a gang of robbers who are suspected of stealing more than $46,000 in cash and jewels from three men, who are said to be between the ages of 50 and 60-years-old.

As if the robberies themselves aren't shocking enough, the suspects the police are looking for are two females in their mid-twenties.

According to police, the two females prey on unsuspecting “older men” with nice watches at local bars. The police then state that after the females find their victims, they drug their drinks, go home with them and steal their cash and items.

Although this is not the first incident of women “date robbing” men, it is causing greater alarm in the high end area of South Florida where many men are now protecting themselves by guarding the wallets.

One of the victims had some choice words for the ladies:

“Although the police said they are going to get you, you better watch out.” He said, “Because I want my stuff back.”

LOL, wow! This story is sad because all these men want is a little attention, but at the same time fellas, you should know better.

Uncle Luke Says "Fu%k-You" To VH1 Hip-Hop Honors

'Just go f**k yourself.'

With VH1 placing a spotlight on the South for this year's Hip-Hop Honors and how they have been able to revolutionize music, there is one trendsetter that isn't such a happy camper.

Uncle Luke, known for his role as a member of the 2 Live Crew, is disappointed that he will not be honored for his work on the solo tip and he is only being showcased for his work in the group.

Speaking with VIBE, Luke expressed his frustrations of not being recognized for his contributions in the business aspect and his overall history.

Nicki Minaj Addresses Butt Pad Rumors

Becoming the new target for media and criticism, Nicki Minaj has apparently been walking around with a target on her back going from all of the shots she's been taking.

The latest topic for discussion revolves around Minaj's assets, or lack thereof, as people are making the statement that her junk in the trunk was manufactured and was only enhanced by the use of butt pads.

Going from the picture, that must be what the rumor reel drives the rapper.
