Tuesday, April 27th, 2010Charlamagne Tha God is officially back now that former Philly shock jock has found a new radio station home.
As previously reported, Charlamagne lost his position at Philadelphia's 100.3 Tha Beat after the station reportedly wanted to “change its format” just days after he gave a pivotal interview with Beanie Sigel airing out his grievances with Jay-Z.
The former co-host of the Wendy Williams Show has moved past his unceremonious let-go and returned to where his career first began; Charleston, South Carolina.
Charlamagne has been tapped to be one of the new on-air personalities at (more...)
Rush Limbaugh Says Tea Partiers Love America More Than Obama, Clinton
Tuesday, April 27th, 2010Rush Limbaugh's brash statements are raising eyebrows once again, as the conservative shock jock airs out another angry tirade about President Obama.
The radio show host, who mind you said he was leaving if healthcare reform passed, has written an editorial piece for The Wall Street Journal criticizing The President and one of his predecessors, Bill Clinton.
Entitled “Liberals And The Violence Card” with a subtext that reads, “Conservative protest is motivated by a love of what America stands for”, Rush hopes to defend the violent Tea Party protestors who spit and hurl racial slurs at Congressmen by citing the fact that they have more “love” for their country than liberals.
According to Limbaugh, Clinton and Obama do not love their country. He makes that implicitly clear saying that the Obama and Clinton administrations are “comfortable with the unrest in our society today” and villainize himself and FOX News to their advantage, a strategy most disagree with.
“A clear majority of the American people want no part of this. They instinctively know that the Obama way is not how things get done in this country. They are motivated by love. Not hate, not sedition. They love their country and want to save it from those who do not.”
Limbaugh also criticizes President Bill Clinton for recently inferring that radio show hosts such as himself might have incited the violence displayed by Oklahoma City Bomber Timothy McVey back in 1993.
Obviously uncomfortable with the truth *cough* that statement, Rush says
"McVeigh was not inspired by anything I said or believe and to say otherwise is outright slander."
According to Rush, the people who really love the country, the protestors, have “peacefully risen up” and it's wrong to call him seditious for insisting “that the temporary inhabitants of high political office comply with the Constitution, honor our God-given unalienable rights, and respect our hard-earned private property.”
Hoe sit down! Someone find this man a seat please.

Damon Dash, Chris Rock & Marc Ecko Help Support Kevin Powell's Bid For Congress
Monday, April 26th, 2010Hip-Hop Mogul Damon Dash and Fashion Guru Marc Ecko have teamed up to announce their support of Hip-Hop historian and journalist turned activist Kevin Powell's bid for Congress.
Powell, who has served on several Hip-Hop panels and discussion groups, has always had a political side to him-even while he appeared on the very first MTV's Real World show in New York, so it only seems natural that the native New Yorker would branch out and step into the realm of politics.
“I have decided to run for Congress here in Brooklyn, New York, because it is the right and necessary thing to do,” Powell stated. “As a long-time resident of this district, I am outraged by the many pockets of fear and despair in our neighborhoods, the arrested development in our communities, and the halting sense that life will never improve for us.

New Jersey Weedman Arrested Again For Transporting Medicinal Marijuana [Video]
Monday, April 26th, 2010Self-proclaimed weedman and activist Ed Forchion takes on New Jersey about the legalizing marijuana after he was arrested for transporting a pound of weed in his car.
Forchion, who is also known as the NJWeedman, was arrested on April 1 (April Fools Day) after police discovered a pound of California-Kush in his trunk. The discovery came after Forchion was stopped by a state trooper for failing to stop at a red light.
"[I didn't plan on getting arrested for weed possision]," Forchion stated in an interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer. “But now that I've been charged, it feels like destiny. That's exactly what I wanted to do."
Forchion, who has been distributing and selling medicinal marijuana in Los Angeles, California for two-years and even owns a medical marijuana dispensary, stated (more...)
