What first started with Mannie Fresh back in the day has translated with Jim Jonsin making allegations that he has yet to see the residuals for his work from Cash Money Records.
Next up is Bangladesh, known for the smash hit “A Millie”, as he has made the statement that he has no intentions of working with Wayne on The Carter 4 since he has yet to be paid for The Carter 3.
Airing out his issues with Wayne and Birdman through VIBE, the producer clearly has no love lost for the rapper or his father.
“I don’t really give a Fawk about [Wayne]. I can’t give a Fawk about somebody that don’t give a Fawk about my situation, I have kids. In the hood, people get killed for ten dollars. I couldn’t imagine owing someone hundreds of thousands of dollars and just walking around in front of them. I’m so confident in myself, that I don’t need Lil Wayne. There’s gonna be so many opportunities. I can create a Lil Wayne.”
Apparently, the lump sum owed to Bangladesh comes around $500,000. Not “A Millie”, but still a lot of money.
He also expressed how the finger should really be pointed at Baby for his shady business tactics, over Cash Money’s history, that can’t be controlled, not even by Wayne.
“This is why Mannie Fresh don’t Fawk with [Cash Money] because he never got any royalty money. That’s why Baby can go around flaunting this cash, because that’s everyone else’s money… It’s not even Wayne’s fault. Wayne is not getting money. He is given money, he’s not getting money. If Baby gets a million dollars he’ll buy Wayne a Phantom, but that’s in Cash Money’s name. That 14-bedroom mansion isn’t Wayne Shyte.”
Looking at the background of Cash Money, many did wonder why rapper’s kept leaving the stable and questioning Birdman’s work ethic. Young Money might want to take note of this before their album sales end up in his pocket and they receive nothing but allowance.
