As the countdown to the August 17th release date for his first post-prison project continues, T.I. is revealing more details on his upcoming album.

As previously reported Tip is marking his return to music with his next album King Uncaged with tracks featuring Keri Hilson, The Dream and B.O.B.

In addition to prepping for his new album T.I. appeared on the Rickey Smiley morning show to discuss his career in acting.

When asked about a possible sequel to Chris Robinsons‘ 2006 hit “ATL” he responded,

“We have been tossing that idea around for quite some time man…ATL was a film that was relative to so many people so if it’s done, it’s got to be done A-1 correct. I don’t wanna mess that up…I don’t wanna touch it.”

While it’s unclear if a sequel to the cult classic could take place, Tip plays a leading role in the movie “Takers” alongside Idris Elba, Michael Ealy, Zoe Saldana and Chris Brown.

Speaking on his ability to “keep it real” in his acting, T.I. told the morning show,

“B.S. ain’t never been my specialty, not my forte. I always try and go a thousand in.“

“Takers” will hit theaters three days after his album on August 20th.
