Couple Arrested For Waiting 2 Hours To Call 911 After Shooting 3-Year-Old

Friday, June 18th, 2010

A Kentucky mother and her boyfriend were arrested Tuesday after police say they got into a heated argument that left her 3-year-old son shot and waited two hours before calling 911.

28-year-old Laquisha Mosby and 34-year-old Shawn Martin are in police custody for the shooting of 3-year-old Camron Mosby.

Police say the mother and Martin were arguing when a .45 caliber handgun was brought into the mix.

A single shot was fired that hit the boy in the shoulder before it traveled through his body, ricocheted off the wall and pierced him in his side.

Police believe the child was shot unintentionally but say Mosby panicked and spent two hours trying to hide the evidence as the child lay bleeding.

Martin left the scene and Mosby called authorities.

The child was in critical condition at the hospital but has since undergone surgery and is expected to recover.

An anonymous tipster led police to Martin who was arrested and booked for first-degree assault, first-degree criminal abuse, being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun, first-degree wanton endangerment and tampering with physical evidence.

The mother, Mosby, faces charges of first-degree assault, criminal abuse, wanton endangerment and tampering with physical evidence.

Friday, June 18th, 2010

With Los Angeles in a frenzy over Kobe Bryant and the Lakers bringing home their 16th championship, Game decided to pen an anthem to celebrate the occasion.

Is it being a sore loser thinking this is too much or the rapper being a sore winner?

Regardless of personal feelings toward the final score of the Celtics/Lakers game, both teams must be congratulated for putting forth such a valiant effort and keeping the fans on the edge of their seats to Game 7.

It also helped to make a few more pockets fatter, but that is another conversation in itself.
