Study Shows That Men May Be Born With “Cheating Gene” [Video]

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

A new study is showing what many people have speculated for years, that some men are natural born cheaters.

Scientists in Sweden concluded a study that suggests that some men may be born with a “cheating gene” that makes them less likely to be married and more likely to have bad relationships.

Marriage and relationship expert Dr. Brenda Wade tells WKYC that she agrees with the study but thinks there's still hope for those genetically programmed to stray.

“There's a gene that's been shown, that if men have this particular gene or a variant of the gene, they have more trouble in relationships….I say to men who have problems with cheating number one you must answer the question: Where did you learn cheating behavior.”

According to the study, the brain can be programmed to resist temptation and those born with the gene just have to make sure they work harder.

“The key is recognizing the unlimited potential that we have to make our selves who we want to be.”

Congress Honors Slaves Who Built Capitol With Commemorative Plaque

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

African-American slaves who sacrificed their health and even their lives to build the U.S. Capitol finally received recognition for their hard work by Congress.

On Wednesday (June 16) Congress erected commemorative plaques inside of the building they built to honor those who had no choice but to sacrifice for their country.

“In remembering the slaves who labored here,” Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said at the ceremony. “We give them in death some measure of the dignity they were so cruelly denied in life.”

The plaques read:

“This original exterior wall was constructed between 1793 and 1800 of sandstone quarried by laborers, including enslaved African Americans who were an (more...)

Eminem Speaks On The Future of "Slim Shady"

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

It seems like whenever a rapper raps with motivation they are dubbed as "emo" and since the release of "Not Afraid" many are believing that Eminem has laid his alter ego, Slim Shady, to rest.

The rapper, on the other hand, tends to think a bit different and tells The New York Times that his chainsaw-wielding, murderous other side is far from being over, it's just on pause for now.

Speaking on the upcoming album, Recovery, the rapper stated that the record called on for a completely different direction which couldn't be led by Shady.

"...I don't think the subjects on this record call for, you know, bring the chainsaws and axes out and murder everyone on this record. There was so much stuff like that off the last record that I felt (more...)

Message to Lil Kim...Leave Nicki Minaj the F*ck Alone!!! [Editorial]

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

There comes a point in time where enough is enough and someone needs to take the stance of knocking another off of their high horse.

This particular case would go to none other than Lil Kim, who decided to try and capitalize off Nicki Minaj, as many other female rappers are doing, to take away from the fact that their careers aren't blooming or are finished.

This short tribute essentially sums it up, speaking on behalf of those that really don't care for this "let's pick on Nicki".

As this "beef" continues to play itself out, it's becoming more evident that Kim must be in some mode of desperation and looking to find a way to keep herself in the music industry.  Since Notorious, the woman just hasn't stopped (more...)

Gary Coleman To Have No Funeral

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

The attorney appointed to oversee the estate of Gary Coleman announced today that the former child star will have no funeral as his ex-wife and ex-girlfriend battle over his assets.

Coleman, who died May 28 after suffering a brain hemorrhage, was taken off life support by his ex-wife Shannon Price after one day in the hospital.

Price has been at the center of controversy after she was pictured in death bed photos of the fallen star that appeared in The Globe tabloid magazine and allegedly bought for $10,000.

Price, who was divorced from Coleman but lived with him at the time of his death, is battling it out with his ex-girlfriend Anna Gray over control of his estate.

Gray was appointed sole executor of his estate in a 2005 will but Price,24, has a handwritten document from Coleman in 2007 that if validated in court would give her access to his assets.

In the 2005 will Coleman asked to be cremated and stated that he did not want a funeral saying “there be no funeral service, wake, or other ceremony memorializing my passing."

Price recently expressed interest in spreading his ashes over railroad tracks to pay tribute to his love for trains.

The court proceedings between the two women are expected to take several months.

Shyne Drops New Track “Roller Song” [Audio]

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

“You could put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig…wrap it up, it's still a fish…”

Shyne is back with a new track to redeem himself in the rap world.

As previously reported, Po was criticized harshly for his remixes to Rihanna's “Rude Boy” and “Rockstar 101”, that sounded nothing like the typical Shyne fans loved before he spent over eight years in a jail cell.

Po, who now goes by Moses Michael Leviy, defended himself against his critics however, saying (more...)

Parents Arrested After "Raping" 1-Month-Old Child to Death

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

Emphasizing the fact that some people aren't meant to produce offspring, a couple was arrested after committing a sexual assault.

The victim, sadly, was their1-month-old baby son.

Staci Lynn Barbosa, 19,  and 23-year-old Jonathan Edward Vandergriff, residents of Bullhead City, Arizona, are believed to have raped the young infant, or had some involvement in the act, according to Bullhead City police spokeswoman Emily Montague.

Authorities were called to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center's Emergency Room, being informed that a child was fighting for his life.  Police stated that they saw bruises and sores all over the baby's body while his eyes were red and swollen shut.

Upon further investigation, doctors found that the child suffered from broken ribs, a broken femur, was malnourished, dehydrated, and showed signs of sexual abuse and shaken baby syndrome, according to Phoenix New Times.

Barbosa and Vandergriff, who brought their child to the hospital, were immediately taken into custody after the baby was airlifted to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, where a trauma center was available.

Vandergriff and Barbosa were arrested for molestation of a child, child abuse, aggravated assault, and sexual conduct with a minor.

Vandergriff is being held on a $500,000 bond and Barbosa's bail was set at $250,000.

It would really be pointless to even give commentary on such a sick act...
