Although facing a possible new jail sentence, T.I. and his wife Tiny are continuing their fight against Alzheimer’s.

The couple’s foundation “For The Love Of Our Fathers” will host the invitation-only For the Love of Our Fathers Honoree Luncheon on Sunday, October 3rd to serve as a pre-launch for its website and upcoming Benefit Concert.

Special celebrity friends, business associates, community leaders and family will be in attendance and will be asked to give a special donation of $100.

Community Alzheimer’s Advocate Tena S. Walker and Sister 2 Sister Magazine Editor Jamie Foster Brown both serve as speakers for the afternoon.

Dr. Patrick A. Griffith, Division of Neurology Chief at Morehouse School of Medicine will be honored along with Walker.

Attendees will be treated to special live performances including those from members of Xscape, The OMG Girlz and QT Jazz.

Speaking on their foundation, Tiny issued a statement saying,

“The name comes from the fact that my father Charles Pope suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and Clifford’s father, Clifford Harris, Sr., died from it…Having to deal with a loved one who suffers from this disease made it hard for me and my family, so we formed this foundation to help others that are in the same situation…Support is what’s needed to make this world a better place.”
