All charges that R&B singer Mario faced in his assault case with his Mother have been dropped.
As previously reported, Mario was facing assault charges for supposedly fighting with his mother, however mom has changed her mind and has dropped all the charges.
After the singer's mother claimed that he assaulted her last month, she is now saying he didn't touch her at all and was on drugs when she reported the incident to the police.
Shawntia Hardaway, who previously battled a heroin addiction, took the stand yesterday and declared she was under the influence when she accused her son of pushing her against a wall and breaking objects in their Baltimore home.
Mario spoke with US Magazine about the case, and is happy that all the charges were dropped.
“I'm glad to be finally vindicated,” the 24-year-old tells UsMagazine.com. “I want to thank everyone who believed in me. I will continue to love and support my mother.”
The Dancing With The Stars contestant is currently in the studio making a mixtape which is set to drop soon.
