Ruff Ryder and Philly bread femcee Eve has been tapped by MTV to host the 2010 Africa Music Awards.
The 2010 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA), which is in its third year, is scheduled to be held this weekend in the city of Lagos at the Airtel Hotel, and will honor the top artists from all over the continent.
Organizers of the MAMA’s made the announcement for the host selection, yesterday December 8 during a press conference at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos.
The organizers also announced the star studded line up of performers for the show.
In addition to Eve, American rappers Rick Ross and T-Pain are slated to perform, along with African artists and presenters Nneka, D’Banji, Big Nuz, Teargas, Banky W., Dama Do Bling and Liquideep among others.
The MTV Africa Music Awards takes place at the Eko Expo Hall on December 11th in Lagos, Nigeria.
