"Golden Voiced" Ted Williams Detained By Police After Altercation With His Daughter

Former homeless man with the "Golden Voice" Ted Williams was briefly detained by police Monday night in Hollywood.

Williams got into an alleged yelling altercation with his daughter which resulted in a disturbance call to the police.

LAPD responded to a disturbance call at the Renaissance Hotel at about 9 p.m.  police spokesman Bruce Borihanh tells The Hollywood Reporter,

"An investigation was conducted and two indiviudals were transferred to the Hollywood station. No one was arrested or booked for any crime in relation to this incident.

After a short investigtation, police determined no crime was committed by either party... Nobody wanted to press charges."

Although there is no word whether or not  drugs and alcohol were involved, we hope that Williams alcohol and drug habit does not come back to ruin this heart warming story.

    Oh no, already! Please children let the man get all the way up on his feet 1st before wanting money. This is a serious issue. Drug dependency is a very hard battle and the last thing he needs is the pressure from his own family. Keep ur head up Ted.

    Please leave this man along (family) he is trying to get on his feet and stay clean. You are grown children that need to leave your Dad alone until he can do what he need to do for himself. Stop it Kids, stop it or your Dad will be right back where he started, is that what you want, I hope not.
