Will Smith jacked the 1980’s classic The Karate Kid last summer and cast one of his seeds Jaden Smith as the star, and although there haven’t been reports of sibling rivalry, the former rapper turned movie star is in talks to turn the 1982 hit Annie into a modern musical flick starring his daughter Willow Smith.

While it has yet to be confirmed whether or not the music will be revamped into R&B, Willow’s label head Jay-Z is also said to be on board to be part of the soundtrack.

Jay’s Annie-inspired “Hard Knock Life” changed his career back in 1998 bringing him an entirely new audience.

Last year Willow’s “Whip My Hair” reached #11 on the Billboard charts boosting her pop appeal and making her a sure seat-filler in theaters as the film’s lead.

Will, who hasn’t been on the silver screen since Seven Pounds is currently working on the third Men In Black movie.
