Rhymefest In Chicago City Council Runoff
Chicago rapper Rhymefest, who is currently running for a Chicago City Coucil seat, has made it to a run off, according to local reports.
Though wholly outnumbered in votes by incumbent Alderman Willie Cochran (46%-20%), the two candidates must face a runoff because neither has as least 50% of the constituent vote.
As previsouly reported, Fest confirmed last October that he would be running for Alderman for the South Side of Chicago's 20th Ward.
