Willow Smith Wins NAACP Image Award

LL Cool J, Ice Cube and Willow Smith were among the Hip-Hop stars who walked away with NAACP Image Awards last night.

Ice Cube was awarded “Best Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series”  for his TV sitcom – “Are We There Yet?” while LL won “Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series” for his role in  “NCIS: Los Angeles”

Will Smith’s baby girl Willow took  home “Outstanding New Artist” in the Music category while John Legend and The Roots took home two awards respectively.

The Roots and John Legend took home “Outstanding Album” for their collaboration album “Wake Up!” and  “Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration.”

Some of the other winners included Tyler Perry, Mary J. Blige, Usher and Aaron Macgruder (The Boondocks.)
