The video for Rihanna and Nicki Minaj’s track “Fly” won’t be released till this summer, this according to the Young Money Princess herself.

Nicki Minaj was on the road with Lil Wayne, Travis Barker and Rick Ross for their “I Am Music II” tour when she revealed to MTV’s Sway Calloway that the vid’s been put on hold—for now at least.

“I’m gonna hold off on the Rihanna video and the Rihanna single for a little bit longer,” she told the host. “Cause we both kind of dropped at the same time. So she has a lot of things in rotation and I want to let her stuff have a moment and do its thing, dominating radio. I wanted to come out with something more fun anyway….the Rihanna video is a frickin epic movie!

She adds,

“You know it’s been done for like a month, two months now—very long time. Look for it around Memorial Day weekend.”

As previously reported, Minaj is set to release the video for her single “Super Bass” in the forthcoming weeks.
