Lil Wayne’s Next Album Pushed Back To June

Fans will have to wait a little while longer for Lil Wayne’s highly anticipated Tha Carter IV album.

Rap Dose reports that the Cash Money/Young Money superstar’s ninth solo album has been moved from a May 16 release date to an indefinite date in June.

Earlier this week a rumored tracklisting of Tha Carter IV was revealed on the internet.

However, reports claim that the decision to push back the album had nothing to do with the rumored tracklist, and that a decision to change release dates was made prior to the tentative tracklist landing on the web.

“6 Foot, 7 Foot,” featuring Cory Gunz, the first single off Tha Carter IV, is presently #32 on the Billboard Hot 100, while Lil Wayne is currently on his own I Am Music II tour.
