Baseball Player Questions Obama’s Birth Certificate

It seems as if the criticism towards President Obama will never end.

Despite releasing his birth certificate last week to silent the doubters who believe the President was not born in the U.S., some Americans are still questioning the authenticity of Obama’s birth place.

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Luke Scott, who has been critical of Obama, said this to Sam Mellinger of the Kansas City Star on Tuesday:

“(President Obama’s) birth certificate has yet to be validated. If they can counterfeit $100 bills, I think it’s a million times easier to counterfeit a birth certificate, if you ask me. So, all it is, let’s just see if it’s real. Anybody can produce a document, so let’s check it out.”

This isn’t the first time the Major League Baseball spoke out against the President.

During an interview in December, Scott made a statement saying, “Obama does not represent America,” before saying he believed Obama wasn’t born in America.

Scott, who is in his 7th big leagues season, doesn’t have any All-Star appearances or MLB awards to speak of.

He may want to spend more time worrying about his swing, and less time worrying about Obama’s birthplace.
