Bulls Player Joakim Noah Spews Gay Slur During Game 3, Apologizes [Video]
Bulls Forward Noah Screams Gay Slur At Fan
Only a month removed from Kobe’s gay slur debacle, Chicago Bulls forward Joakim Noah is in hot water after appearing to yell a homophobic slur towards a fan during game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Noah, who was sitting on the bench during a losing effort to the Miami Heat Sunday (May 22) appeared to turn to a spectator and yell, “Fawk you f*ggot.”
The Chicago defensive specialist later apologized for his actions and says he expects to be repercussions from the League, similar to those that were levied during the Kobe Bryant incident.
“I apologize,” Noah later told reporters. “The fan said something to me that I thought was disrespectful, and I got caught up in the moment and I said something I shouldn’t have said. I was frustrated and I don’t mean no disrespect to anybody. I just got caught up.”
No word from the League as to whether a fine will be handed down.
