Meek Mill and his fellow Maybach Music signee Pill were spotted at the BET awards where they spoke on a number of topics including their venture into acting and plans for a new clothing line.
Pill confirmed that he's starring in a new film titled "96 Minutes."
"I got a movie coming out by the name of "96 Minutes" it stars Evan Ross and Brittany Snow. I play a character by the name of Roger. It's slated to drop later this summer, make sure y'all check it out," said Pill.
"I did a deal with Ecko I got a clothing line with them." said Mill.
While at the 2011 BET Awards, Roscoe Dash spoke with HipHopWired on his recent collaborations.
The ATL emcee revealed that he's been featured on a number of new hits including "Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay" with Kanye West and Big Sean.
"I have the new single with DJ Drama, Fabolous and Wiz Khalifa called "Oh My." I also have the Big Sean record--"Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay" with Kanye West. My album drops in November, I'm trying to get it."
Also on hand was Travis Porter, who spoke on their upcoming mixtape with fellow ATLien Waka Flocka.
"We got the mixtape coming out with Waka Flocka, it's gonna be crazy leading up to the album that drops in September. Make sure y'all get that!"
While at the 2011 BET Awards, producers Sean Garrett, Drumma Boy, Kevin McCall and Mr. Boomtown checked in with HipHopWired on the red carpet and individually spoke on their new projects.
"I got my brand new single if you didn't get to check the viral video that we just shot in Miami at King of Diamonds it was incredible," said Garrett.
"I want to be a quadruple threat,want to get into the movies. A big inspiration of mine is Tyrese. He successfully went from the music to the movies," said McCall.
"We just dropped that new Tupac Back video, Meek Mill featuring Rick Ross. We grinding man, we just shot Slim Thug's video," said Boomtown.
Drumma Boy also shared who he was looking forward to seeing perform.
"I'm looking forward to seeing what Patti gonna do...you know she's gonna hit that whine on ya."
Game is inviting rappers and songwriters to add a verse to his current track "Pot Of Gold."
Game will select his favorite lyrics and use them to create a new verse which he will record and feature on his official website and social media channels.
The new track which will be recorded by Game and featured on www.comptongame.com, in the Interscope newsletter, on Game's Facebook page and Twitter. The names of all winners will be credited wherever the remixed track is featured.
The 5 highest voted submissions will be featured on www.comptongame.com and will receive a signed Cincinnati Reds hat.
