Jay-Z Installs Personal Chef In Revamped 40/40 Club
Jay-Z Places Personal Chef In Charge Of Food At 40/40 Club
As recently reported, Jay-Z's popular New York City sports bar, The 40/40 Club is closed for the summer for renovations.
The hip-hop mogul's first order of duty in the $10 million renovation will be a change in personnel.
Jigga has placed his personal chef, Mike Shand, in charge of the eats at flagship Manhattan location, according to TMZ.
According to TMZ's source, Shand has been appointed Executive Chef of the Manhattan nightspot and has already rearranged the menu to include a number of Hov's favs.
“Jay-Z knew that Mike would be able to improve upon the current menu in ways that had the Jay-Z seal of approval because many are dishes that he eats himself on a daily basis,” a rep told TMZ.
As previously reported, The Manhattan 40/40 Club closed on June 1 and will reopen in September after undergoing a multi-million dollar overhaul.
