Is O.J. Simpson Ready To Confess Murder Of His Wife To Oprah Winfrey?
Enquirer: O.J. to Confess on Oprah He Murdered Nicole, Oprah Disputes Report
The Enquirer reportedly broke the news that O.J. Simpson told a producer of Oprah Winfrey's show that he killed his wife Nicole Brown Simpson in self-defense and he was ready to tell all.
If you know about double jeopardy and the fact that a person can't be tried twice for the same crime, then you may believe this story that O.J. is scheduled to confess the murder in a live interview with Oprah.
But the chances of the former NFL running back admitting to slaying both his ex-wife and Ron Goldman even though he was acquitted of all charges is still up in the air.
A rep for Harpo tells The Hollywood Reporter, "That's not true."
According to an insider, O.J said, "Tell Oprah that yes, I did it. I killed Nicole, but it was in self-defense. She pulled a knife on me and I had to defend myself."
Ms. Winfrey has previously stated that she does not want the interview if it doesn't come with a confession.
The insider has more of the story as Simpson supposedly gave accounts of the evening.
"Before I knew what I was doing I took the knife away from Nicole and started slashing at her. I cut her over and over again until she was lifeless. I was shocked at my own anger - I had killed the woman I had loved for so long.."'
He then confessed to killing Ron Goldman as well who showed up later. Despite bloodstains in his car, a glove holding DNA from the three, and a sock engrained with traces of his victims' blood on his bedroom carpet, Johnnie Cochran got the jury to believe the former football star was innocent and he was acquitted.
Hopefully Oprah can get a live confession, something she regretted not doing during her career.
