Wiz Khalifa and Prodigy Cover Urban Ink Magazine

Mr. Black & Yellow is taking the cover of Urban Ink Magazine this month.

The issue will be the tattoo mag's 20th, and features a dual cover with New York rapper Prodigy taking his spot as the other cover story.

Producer Sean Garrett, ATL rap group  Travis Porter and Wilmarie Sena of “Bad Girls Club” season six are also featured in the issue.

Rock City Talks Leaving Akon's Konvict Music And Working With Rihanna On "Man Down"

Hip-Hop Wired caught up with Rock City as they discussed leaving Akon's Konvict Music label and putting their career in their own hands.

Also platinum selling song writers who have crafted hits for Sean Kingston, Usher, Pussycat Dolls and most recently  Rihanna's  hit single "Man Down",  the brothers from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands talked  about the tensions with Akon, working with him in the future as well as their new upcoming project Free At Last.

"We got caught up in politics.  We don't want to be like nobody did nothing wrong or nobody did nothing right but' we'll just say that the powers that be didn't do what we felt was necessary for us to take it to the next level."

Video Director Mr. Boomtown Talks BET Awards Nomination And Battling Kanye West For "Director Of The Year" [Exclusive Video]

Though Nahala “Mr. Boomtown” Johnson is known as, “The Dirtiest Director Down South,” a more accurate moniker may be, the hardest working man in the music video business.

Well hard work continues to pay off as he is up for his third nomination from BET.  Previously Boomtown was nomianted for two BET Hip-Hop Awards and this year he made the nomination list for "Director Of The Year" of this Year's BET Awards going down on Sunday in L.A.

"I'm honored and just happy to be recognized and be ina list with guys like Hype Williams, Benny Boom, Chris Robinson and Kanye West.  That's an elite list and coming from where I'm from, it's kind of unbelievable.  Just to be honorted and recognized by BET and a bunch of my peers, I'm estatic."

Boom also discuuses his formula for success and drops a few jewels for up-and-coming directors as well as his plans to move into feature films.
