Ghostface Sued
Ghostface Killah is facing a new lawsuit for his use of theme song from the Iron Man series.
Killah and his label Sony Entertainment are being sued by composer Jack Urbont who claims they illegally sampled his theme song from the Marvel animated series.
Surprisingly Urbont is just now filing suit for two tracks off the rapper’s 2000 album that he claims illegally samples his work.
In addition to copyright infringement, Urbont claims that Ghostface’s Tony Starks moniker is too close to the super hero’s real name, Tony Stark.
And although he has no present connection to Marvel Comics, Urbont claims that Killh owes the company royalties for his illegal use of the name.
