DJ Mars Stars In New Balance's "Where Are You Running To Next" Campaign [Video]

Keri Hilson’s DJ, DJ Mars, is starring in a new web series that gives vieweres an inside glimpse of life for globetrotting DJ’s.

Titled ”Where Are You Running to Next?” and sponsored by New Balance, additional films will be added throughout the rest of the year from other Hip-Hop industry notables.

DJ Mars started as Outkast’s original DJ, and has toured with Ne-yo, Ciara, Usher, Monica and Keli and to date is currently touring with Keri Hilson.

Throughout his years behind the turn tables, Mars has personally spun at every club and major Platinum Party working with Jay-Z and Diddy to Jermaine Dupri and Beyonce.

Shopnewbalance.com is offering a special promotion to celebrate this exciting campaign and people who visit the Where Are You Running To Next microsite and purchase their own pair of Custom 574′s, will receive 10% off AND free shipping on their shoes.

Speaking on his new ties to New Balance, Mars say he clearly saw the correlation between the shoes and the life of a Hip-Hop DJ.

“Business wise,as far as New Balance is concerned, I saw a clear lane for them to drive through. The companies selling point is that they are a great running shoe brand, plain and simple. People in my line of work run around the globe for a living. So creatively New Balance allowed me to share several stories of how we all run our lives. We all may not be athletes but we share the common bond of running our careers[...] My goal is to exemplify how the brand can be equally as important to athletes and non athletes alike. Whatever ones lifestyle is,be it entertainer, parent, casual walker, college student running late to his next class,New Balance has a place in their lives.”
