Lil Wayne Sued Over “How To Love” Track
Lil Wayne's attorney may be the busiest entertainment lawyer in the industry now that the Young Money CEO has been hit with yet another lawsuit.
The latest was filed by rapper Rich Rick, who claims he owns the beat the Lil Wayne turned into his third single off Tha Carter IV, “How To Love.”
Rick filed a the suit in the LA Country Superior Court earlier this week alleging that he purchased the beat from the production duo Drummer Boyz between 2006 and 2009 according to court documents obtained by TMZ.com.
Rick claims however, that the beat was unknowingly sold to Lil Wayne in 2010 by the producers in exchange for 35% royalties off the song.
Rick is suing both Lil Wayne and Drummer Boyz seeking royalties from the song in addition to 10% interest.
Lil Wayne has yet to comment.
