Martin was must see TV. From 1992-1997, busting a gut off ol' Marty Mart and his cast of characters was a Thursday night ritual for many in the black community.

It has also become known as one of the hip hop generation's favorite shows, even featuring cameos from the likes of The Notorious B.I.G., Method Man, Bushwick Bill, Coolio, MC Hammer, Salt-N-Pepper, Snoop Dogg and Christoper “Kid” Reid.
