Nick Cannon Hospitalized With Mild Kidney Failure
Nick Cannon is in an Aspen, Colorado hospital recuperating from "mild kidney failure," according to his wife, singer Mariah Carey.
Carey revealed the actor, rapper and TV executive's hospitilization via Twitter. "Please pray for Nick as he's fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure. #mybraveman," she tweeted, including a photo (below) of her and Cannon in a hospital bed.
Carey also released a statement on her official MariahCarey.com website. "This is us in the hospital - role reversal," begins Carey's post. "Last year it was me attached to the machines (after having dembabies) and Nick was there with me through it, and now here we are."
The message continues, "We're trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful. They tried to kick me out of the hospital but here I am pon de bed with Mr. C."
The couple and their twins (Moroccan and Monroe) were in Aspen for the holidays. Carey also asked fans to keep the family in their prayers.
