While it’s uncharacteristic to hear any crime related lyrics from Travis Porter, that may soon change. Group member Strap was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Wednesday morning, in an attempt to get a firearm through security. According to MTV News, Harold Duncan (Strap’s birth name), was arrested and taken to Clayton County jail in Jonesboro, Georgia.

There is no word on Duncan’s bail or what penalty he’ll be facing. Luckily the State of Georgia doesn’t have strict gun laws, similar to New York. Had the ATL MC been caught in New York, he’d be facing a mandatory one year jail sentence, similar to what Lil Wayne, T.I. and Ja Rule all faced.

If you’ve partied within the past year, chances are Travis Porter was a part of the southern music set played at the event. The Atlanta trio is known for their club records “Bring It Back,” “Make It Rain,” and “You Don’t Know.” The group is comprised of Ali, Quez and Strap, and has recently appeared on T.I.‘s Fawk Da City Up Mixtape. Porter’s latest mixtape Differenter 3 (Road Trips & Big T*ts) was released last September and featured Wale, Meek Mill, Kelly Rowland, Big Sean and many more.

We’ll provide more details as they become available.
