Wiz Khalifa Named MTV's 9th Hottest MC In The Game, Big Sean Now 8th [Video]
As we get closer to the premiere of MTV's 'Hottest MC in the Game' we have Wiz Khalifa introduced to the list at the eight spot. The Taylor Gang MC made waves after debuting his album Rolling Papers at number two on the Billboard charts behind only Britney Spears. Wiz also led off last year with his Cabin Fever mixtape, which helped build the hype towards his eventual debut album. However, many felt that Rolling Papers fell short of expectations.
Despite the rock-star type of persona Wiz was able to build in 2011, many felt that musically he began to decline, as the spotlight seemed to shine more on his personal life. There was no doubt that Khalifa had a very successful year, but it wasn't enough to rank him above Big Sean, who was moved to the eighth position on the list.
The 'Hottest MC's in the Game' will premiere on Feb 19th.
