Police in Miami are looking to speak with Rick Ross regarding a murder that took place outside of his home early this morning. The Maybach Music Group head is not implicated as a suspect in the death of the 40-year-old man, whose identity has not been released.

Sources told TMZ that Ross wasn’t even at his Miami Gardens home at the time of the shooting, but that the victim’s body was found inside the gate. Authorities are unsure whether or not the dead man had any ties to the Teflon Don, but nonetheless, cops are still interested in questioning him on the matter.

Ross has been busy performing all over the place, heading to Orlando, over the weekend, for a gig at The Beachem to close out festivities celebrating the NBA All-Star Game. He’s also gearing up to drop his long-awaited God Forgives, I Don’t album, and the second installment of the MMG Self Made compilation.

As of yet Ross has not released a statement on the matter but he retweeted the statement “I Gotta Thank The Lord 10x’s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” He could very well be talking about giving thanks in general, but not being suspected in a murder is at the top of the list of things to be thankful for. Just ask Max B.
