President Obama may be busy running the country, but that doesn’t mean that he has no time for guilty pleasures. We already know that he likes to carry a tune from time to time and in an interview with the Bill Simmons, of Grantland.com, Mr. President revealed that he’s not only a fan of The Wire, but has a case of “Lin-Sanity.”

Sitting down for a podcast on the B.S. Report, Obama said that he’s a huge sports fan, and has an NBA League Pass on his iPad (which he pays for himself). Like most of America, the commander in chief is riding the Jeremy Lin train, but maintains that he knew about the New York Knicks guard long before he became famous.

“I knew about Jeremy before you did, or everybody else did,” he told Simmons. “Arne Duncan, my Secretary of Education, was captain of the Harvard team. And so way back when, Arne and I were playing and he said, ‘I’m telling you, we’ve got this terrific guard named Jeremy Lin at Harvard.’ And then one of my best friends, his son is a freshman at Harvard, and so when he went for a recruiting trip he saw Lin in action. So I’ve been on the Jeremy Lin bandwagon for a while.”

Aside from sports Obama also proved to be a true fan of The Wire. Although it was canceled in 2009, the show was not only one of the best drama’s on television, but still has a solid fan base—and nearly 10,000 followers on Twitter. When asked about his favorite character, the 50-year-old didn’t hesitate.”It’s got to be Omar, right? I mean, that guy is unbelievable, right? He’s got to be the No. 1 seed. I mean, what a combination. And that was one of the best shows of all time.”

Our President is a very interesting guy.
