To nobody’s surprise, Nicki Minaj’s album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, sprung a leak to yesterday. While bloggers and fans alike picked apart the albums’ range from hip-hop to pop records, the consensus was that the stand out record was “Champion,” featuring Young Jeezy, Drake and Nas. Believed to be produced by Da Internz [“Birthday Cake,” “Dance (@$$),” “The Don,”]Hip-Hop Wired spoke exclusively with the duo today to clear up the notion that they produced the record.

So Nicki Minaj’s album is about to hit stores, and there is a big buzz around your record, “Champion.”

Tuo: I’ve got to pause that. I’ve got to pause that man, we did not produce that record. I don’t know where this is coming from.

Kosine: That Shyte is everywhere man, we were like what the Fawk? Whoever produced that record has got to be pissed off! Shout out to the producers that did it man, because we know you are pissed.  But we didn’t make that record [laughs.]

Tuo: We are not going around trying to be something that we are not, we are happy to say we didn’t do it. Whoever did, congrats, and we are glad to clear up the record for you.

Well, I guess the next logical question is who produced the record? Looks like we will find that out when it is time to look through the liner notes when Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded hits stores April 2nd.
